Athull is a Systems Engineer who builds and runs backend systems that stay fast, reliable and secure. He works mostly in Java and Spring Boot, building microservices and the infrastructure under them: Linux, networking, containers, cloud and automation. He cares most about how systems behave in production: how they scale, how they fail, and how to make them easy to recover.
As a mentor at Maestro, Athull helps learners connect the fundamentals (operating systems, networking, concurrency, the JVM) to real-world backend and systems design. He’s happy to help with:
Java and Spring Boot: building REST APIs and microservices the right way
Systems design and architecture interviews
Linux, networking and debugging production issues
Docker, Kubernetes, cloud and CI/CD pipelines
Starting a career in backend, systems or infrastructure engineering
He believes the best way to learn systems is to break them, trace them and fix them, and he brings that hands-on approach to every session.
